Why Can’t I Pair My Bluetooth Device ?

 If you have purchased a new mobile device or are trying to add another mobile device to your Alpine Bluetooth head unit and are receiving a pairing failed message you will want to check the “Paired Device List” as it may be full and delete any old or unused devices.

For Alpine CD Headunits CDE-133BT, CDE-135BT, CDE-136BT, CDE-HD137BT, CDE-HD138BT and CDE-W235BT

1. Press and hold the phone/setup button for three seconds to enter “Setup”
2. Using your volume control, select “Paired Dev” and press “Enter”
3. Using your volume control scroll through the list of paired devices
4. Select a paired device to be deleted by pressing “Enter” then use your volume control to select “Clear” and press “Enter. (a cleared message will appear)
5. Repeat steps 4 & 5 to delete multiple devices.
6. Press and hold the phone/setup button for three seconds to exit “Setup”

For Alpine CD Headunits and Digital Media Recievers CDE-143BT, CDE-147BT, CDE-HD148BT, CDE-HD149BT, CDE-153BT, CDE-154BT, UTE-42BT and UTE-52BT

1. Press and hold the audio button for three seconds to enter “Setup”
2. Select “Bluetooth” and press “Enter”
3. Using your volume control, select “Paired Dev” and press “Enter”
4. Using your volume control scroll through the list of paired devices
5. Select a paired device to be deleted by pressing “Enter” then use your volume control to select “Clear” and press “Enter.
6. Use your volume control to select “Yes” and press “Enter” (a cleared message will appear)
7. Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 to delete multiple devices.
8. Press and hold the audio button for three seconds to exit “Setup”

For Alpine AVN Headunits IVE-W535HD, INE-S920HD, INE-W927HD, INE-W940, IVE-W555BT,  INE-Z928HD, INE-W957HD, X008U, X009U, X009GM and X009-FD1

1. Press the “Phone” button to enter “Setup”
2. Press the “Change” or “Change Device” soft key
3. Press the “Delete” soft key next to the device you wish to delete
4. “Do You Wish To Delete” message will appear
5. Press “OK”
6. Repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 to delete multiple devices.

For Alpine AV Headunit IVE-W530

1. Press the “Setup Button”
2. Press “Source Setup
3. Press Bluetooth Setup
4. Press Clear Device
5. Press the “Double Arrow” next to the device you wish to delete
6. Press “OK”
